Filius Blue is an exceptional ornamental chili variety that impresses not only with its spiciness, but also with its impressive play of colours. With its dark foliage and the fruits that ripen from green to blue-purple to red, it attracts everyone's attention. The round fruits, about 1 cm in diameter, offer a colourful spectacle that adds a special accent to any garden or balcony.

Sharp and decorative

In addition to its decorative appearance, Filius Blue impresses with its high spiciness, which, however, diminishes somewhat during the ripening process. The ripe, red version of the chili is milder and is ideal for eating fresh or dried and made into powder. The plant reaches a height of 60 to 80 cm and is a must for every chili collection thanks to its almost black leaves and brightly coloured berries.

Cultivation and harvest

Filius Blue thrives both outdoors and in pots and is characterized by uncomplicated care. The plant is robust and, thanks to its compact size, ideal for growing on the windowsill or balcony. A rich harvest of hot, colourful chilies is possible without much garden effort.
