Origin and tradition

The Habanero Orange, one of the most famous chili varieties in the world, has its roots deep in the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula. Despite the misleading name that suggests a Cuban origin, it is a jewel of Mexico characterized by its intense spiciness and unique fruity aroma. This variety reaches a considerable height of 80 to 120 cm and produces bright orange fruits that challenge the palate with a level of spiciness of 9.

An explosion of flavour

The Habanero Orange impresses not only with its spiciness, but also with its incomparable tropical-fruity aroma. The thin-walled, rounded and wrinkled fruits resemble small peppers in shape and are about 5 cm long and 3 cm thick. This chili is a highlight in the kitchen, especially in salsas and when combined with tropical fruits, ripening from a light green to a bright orange.
